We Are
A professional organization formed in 1989 to advocate and support quality educational programs for students in the Chicago Public Schools.

For the last 25 years we advocate, support and pursue: Excellence and equity in educational opportunities for Hispanic students and educators.

We provide members with: A forum for the presentation and discussion of issues that affect Hispanic educators, students and communities.

In 2021 we awarded five undergraduate scholarships to future Latino teachers. We honored three retirees and two administrators for their outstanding contributions.

This past year we held Zoom meetings. We plan to have in-person meetings starting on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
